Patient portal staff guide
How staff at a radiology practice look up a patient, see why a report or images are hidden, release or hold a result, and help someone sign in.
RadOS is the platform. The patient portal wears the name and logo of the clinic the person opened. This guide is the same for every practice that uses it, including Vision Radiology, Focus, Quantum, Crystal, Alpha, and Imagica.
- How do I sign in?The access check, then the staff console or VRG Hub.
- How do I find a patient or a study?Patients for a phone call. Study decisions for one scan.
- Why can the patient not see a report or images?Delays, holds, reports switched off, and flags.
- How do I release a report or images early?Operator or admin. A reason is required.
- How do I place or remove a hold?A hold hides the result until you remove it.
- How do I resend or check a notification?SMS and email go only to the details already on file.
- How do I help a patient who cannot sign in?Date of birth, expired links, and the terms step.
- What does the patient see?The words on screen for each result state.
- Who do I contact?support@rados.health. Do not send patient details.
Before you change anything
- Never send a code, link, or result text to a number or email that is not already on the patient record. The console has no box for a different destination.
- Check identity with your clinic process before you ask for a name, date of birth, mobile, or email to be corrected in Karisma. This console does not edit those details.
- Do not give clinical advice. Messages must not contain findings, body parts, or the type of scan.
- Do not paste a name, date of birth, patient ID, accession, mobile, or a screenshot of a real record into a support email or a chat.
Screenshots in this guideThe pictures use a fictional record: Test Patient, born 1 January 1970, patient ID TEST0001. They are not a real person.
